i was angry because so many people were making fun of innocent Somalis who were protecting themselves and loved ones from a dangerous wild animal. The way some people on this thread were standing up for a wild animal and putting down fellow humans and Somalis was aggravating.

Still there is no excuse for what i said. Again, i sincerely apologize to @Shoto Todoroki. If i knew you were a women i wouldn't have attacked you so hard. Sorry.

Back when I was traveling in the southern jungles of the country, people's farms were under constant attack by packs of wild boars and their piglets. Bonds, small lakes, and farms all laid waste unless people employed a system of protection from these vermin.

My Abti owned G3 and I tagged along sometimes when he went out to deliver something far away from a small town we were staying. On the road, he kept shooting these wild boars. Some of them grew too big and attack travelers on the road. Also, if you came up on them suddenly, they charge towards the noise and basically mow down anything ahead of them. They also spread diseases. Since Somalis don't eat their meat, their number balloon and sky rocket seasonally. Makes sense to hunt them and reduce their numbers.

In America, this is exactly why government sanctions hunting wild animals. It is good for the environment.

That woman who posted this thread has an ulterior motive seeing her avatar and how she calls herself an Illuminated Xaliimo. We all know posters like that are up to no Good.

They could've killed it right after it was captured and disabled.

Yea, they should have killed it with mercy aka fast to not cause undue pain etc. These people were not armed though, so that was also part of the problem.

I never shot any animal. And back then I couldn't carry a gun because of its weight. They once handed me a gun to shoot up into the sky, but I struggled to hold it up to my hip level. They decided it was too dangerous to have me hold a gun after that. My Nomadic Abtis looked down on city kids like me as worthless or needing protection anyway in the Baadiye environment.

My buddy at work whom I have given a ride once after work had a blast seeing me slow down for squirrels. He kept saying: "Jesus Fucking Christ, we will never get home buddy if you keep slowing down like that" He thought it was okay to overrun them by accident, but I told him I couldn't deal with that in the aftermath, so I would rather avoid hitting them.

I agree, any humane method to expedite the death of an animal for a justified cause is important. That is what Islam teaches and Prophet Mohamed himself pbuh recommended people use their sharpest Knives when slaughtering animals to make death easier and faster for the animal. I guess since the animal appeared out of nowhere and in the middle of a crowd, the reaction to it was instinctual and chaotic, hardly a setting for a reasonable execution of a plan to address the presence of an animal people view as a menace.


With that said, there is no excuse to insult Somalis in this thread posted by one of the usual suspects who have an ax to grind. We can see their bigotry and inferiority complex. Both the words they use to distinguish themselves from other Somalis online, and their choice of posts they start speak clearly to their hypocrisy. And we are not standing for it.
