Heavy Delegation from Egypt Came To Mogadishu To revive their Bilateral Economic and Military trade.

The Egyptian delegation arriving in Mogadishu , which included Officials from the Foreign Department, military officials from Egypt's airforce and the navy wanted To sign Deal in Which Egpyt will Import 60% of their Food from South Somalia like Livestock ,Mangoes, bananana and other agricultural Products.
This is a great Day For Mogadishu Government but rest assured we wont be a pawn in Egptian Hand against Our Neighbour Ethiopia because we already have agreements with Ethiopia so live peacefully side by side and we will honor it as long as they Honor it.Mogadishu now has the Richest Citizens in all over Somalia Peninsula ,The egyptians also Bought Huge Chunck of Empty Land which is Suitable For Agriculture but The Locals werent Utilizing them Properly where they will grow Cash Crops Like Cotton and Commercial large SCALE Food Crops to Import to their Country Cheaply(ofcouse they will pay taxes to FGS) and will import almost 2000 Livestock on Monthly Basis for local Consumption in Egypt. It is not Egpyt only which is interested Brotherly countries Like Saudi arbai,Qatar,Kuwait and Turkey have come forward with similar deals.
This deal can be easily implanted and will improve the lives of the citizens.
Look at this Kenyan website the eastafrican.KE
Qatar’s influence in Somalia edges out traditional Arab power-house Egypt

“Like other Arab countries’ monetary support for Somalia, Doha’s assistance is shrouded in secrecy,” said Abdiwahab Sheik Abdisamad, Horn of Africa specialist at Kenyatta University’s Department of History and Political Science in Kenya.

Mr Abdisamad, however, said Qatar’s involvement in Somalia is “good” for Somalia, because “Doha can lobby Mogadishu’s interest in both Arab and Western arenas.

SFG also Enjoys Good relations with Kenya which Saw Hundreds of Kenyans Investing In Mogadishu local Construction and Hotel Chains that are based in Nairobi will have similar chains in Mogadishu.I am not exagerating anything at all,But even AMERICANS are flocking To XAMAR,the potential of This City is Huge and that is why HSM is investing In security against ANTI-STABILITY clans,Most Americans Who Visit Mogadishu are THRILL-SEEKERS and they Like To stay in Hotels and VISIT THE famous BLACK-HAWK DOWN site which is Increasingly Becoming Tourist Attraction.
on the other hand
The port of Berbera just signed a landmark agreement with Egypt's arch enemy, Ethiopia. The agreement has been in the making for almost 10 yeas and we were hearing it for a long time.Even though i welcome This Agreement because it will relieve Many economic Problems in Sl we have to be realistic.
But there is one Problem with the Implementation of the Deal,SECURITY.Ethiopian Cargo/shipments which cost billions of dollars will be vulnerable to extortion, countless road blocks that DEMAND huge taxes or even Outright Robbery By the rebels inside Ethiopia Like Sidama Liberation Front,ONLF,Local Bussinessmen who profit from such scheme and Even The Afars and Oromos will Levy Huge Taxes and the Imported Products which was already taxed in Berbera will Reach Addisababa in very high prices which will have negative impact on the live of ordinary citizens. as the Cargo wagons From Berbera to Addis ababa Increases so will all sorts of Criminality on the Road which is IMPOSSIBLE to eradicate because of the huge distance almost 1000KMs,so i would like to see how this deal will be implemented.

Your superior
I am confused by the last paragraph, there are check points and isbaarso points in Somaliland or Ethiopia, that is only in south somalia. Secondly the government of Somaliland guaranteed the security of merchandise in its territory and Ethiopia guarantees security within its borders, onlf was eliminated.

BebsiBolice

Suicidal men adore me.
All I care about is that Egypt will import Somali goods. That will mean more money for our farmers. I do think it's stupid we sold them large pieces of lands where they will grow cotton. Cotton is not a water friendly product to produce and we all know water is a dire resource in Somalia.

South Somalia sold like a slave at an auction

It is not a slave,it will accelerate the Economic Growth and give $$$ to the local farmers thus Creating jobs.Egpyt will also Transfer Knowledge-farming to the Local Population expertise knowledge. This is positive Knows on all sides, next will be offshore NATURAL GAS in east africa.
