Mogadishu bombing kills 10

MOGADISHU: At least 10 people died and 12 were wounded when an explosive device ripped through a minibus outside the Somali capital Mogadishu on Sunday, the government said.

The deadly explosion occurred near Lafole village along the Afgoye-Mogadishu where the passenger bus was travelling early in the day.

“At least 10 civilians were killed in an explosion at Lafole area this morning, those who died were all civilians,” the information ministry said in a statement, adding that the victims were on their way to a funeral.

Witnesses said the minibus was completely destroyed, and described an horrific scene with everyone on board either dead or wounded and many bodies ripped apart or burned beyond recognition.

“This was a horrible incident this morning, the explosive device went off as the bus was passing by the area and destroyed it completely,” said Daud Doyow, a witness.

“Bodies of civilians were strewn in pieces and most of the people died,” he added.

“There were more than 20 people on board and 10 of them were confirmed dead while the rest are seriously wounded and taken to hospital, this is a horrible scene here,” said another witness, Abdirisak Adan.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing, but Somalia’s Al Qaeda-aligned Shabaab group carries out regular attacks in and around the capital, often killing civilians.

Sadly bombings are a common occurrence in Mogadishu the reason why is simple the folks in that city like killing and murder and despise peace. I didn't want to say it but it's the only explanation and Im not gonna lie for someone's satisfaction. Reer Mogadishu like stealing killing and murdering hence the bombings.

I love Mogadishu people I have friends from Mogadishu community but we have to sterilize their men and have other communities men breed their women to get rid of the Mogadishu genes. These people have been walking free for far too long and enough is enough. This is the only way to stop the terrorist group affiliated with alqaeda also known locally as al shabaab.

Bombings in Xamar are double maybe even triple then all of Puntland. Ur colours are showing we aren't even talking about Puntland in this thread

I'm not using terrorist as FKD it's a very tragic thing that happened in xamar and Im not trying to score any points off of this thread I'm just trying to explain why it keeps happening.

When will this end...

All foreign troops must leave, so Al-Shabaab has no motivation to fight against the govt and the people can't sympathise with their cause.

Then whoever is victor must declare peace everywhere and end this cycle
