You wouldn't run away from Somalia with your tail tucked and declare secession if you actually believed you were a major stakeholder. On the contrary you know you will always be marginalized by the larger groups in Somalia due to being langaab.

Kkkk you make too much of your little clan. HA were the prime minister of Somalia when you were in Utanga refugee camp. The initial secession was a power struggle between isaaq sub clans. The clan that declared succession later said they are part of dowlada saal balaad when they were no longer president of Somaliland. We stayed on the secession path because there is little rejo for Somalia to be a functioning state again.

Isaaq have 2 Fed states on the table and north south power sharing. I have a budget equal to that of the fed gov which receives budgetary support of hundreds of millions of dollars.

HA have a non disputed Fed state. You are stateless and will have no chance for president for another 30 to 40 years. It’s a bad time to be a b**n

Siad barre came to power because he was the odey of the military men. You had 3 seats in the parliament marexaan had no influence in his rise. Since then you have had a few spoiler PMs appointed by hawiye to combat majeerteen that’s it. Farmajo came as a result of hawiye power struggle between Hassan sheekh, sheekh sharif and HG. They had double the votes of Farmajo before they started on each other.

You have no federal state. You have no influence in Somali galbeed nor Kenya. You have no money. You can’t sustain a few hundred soldiers for more than a month or two before they have to work for their lively hood. You’re landlocked. You’re the spoiler card.

Somalis have learned though that it was not just siad barre but your whole clan are spoilers. No country can prosper under your leadership because if the population isn’t dirt poor and living on state patronage the marexaan president will have no power. You’re not a key stake holder like the kablalax hiraab or habar magaadle who all have 2 Fed states.

Your the same id00r tribe that got massacred for being spoilers and called for secession because you were unable to compete with the big boys, that's just the honest truth. You only live in a small area in the Northwest region of Somalia and have literally no stake whatsoever in the south. You're smaller than Darod, Hawiye, and Raxanweyne which is why you are given deputy pm. You are under the dir umbrella and none of your subclans have anywhere near as much mps in the FGS parliament as we do. You lie about your lineage to get partnerships with larger clans than you to have a chance to compete with us. We have major stakes in two different Maamuls as well as the highest seat in the nation. You on the other hand have never had any position of note and were always given throw away positions. You can't compete where you don't compare.

If we have no path to power than no one does, we will always be able to maneuver in ways no other subclan can, especially your id00r clan that was xasuuqed to the point they had to leave the nation. We've always held the best minister positions if we're not PM or Pres and have had the longest terms in the Presidency. Whatever reasoning you want to conjure up isn't relevant since those are just subjective opinions. Most of these other clans have never sniffed either position and are for the most part not politically astute enough to keep up.

You keep mentioning Fed states as if they mean something. The only viable Fed state is PL and SL. All of the other ones are paper maamuls that don't even control any of their territories. They are maqaarsaar that report to the FGS which appoints puppets, in which we control and will control for the foreseeable future. If we weren't FGS President getting Presidency for a paper maamul gobaleed would be very easy.

That was when I went to hamar as 'naive' 15 year old kid for dhaqan celis by my parents, as my 'ayeeyo' lived in hamar and didn't flee like the others, plus I became aquainted with my 'reer abtis' a-lot locally. It was a terrible time but it was also quite peaceful as there was no 'govt' to fight over, I find that ironic, that's why I realized a 'treaty' reserve works perfect for HAG and I see the same in GM they won't fight each other if you don't bring a govt, their just interested in the loot and living a 'wax qaawan' lifestyle.

I suspect the reason is they find their 'strength' isn't in 'government' waa wax ku cusub as they were always 'governed' either by 'Keenadiid' who produced abdullahi issa, or then SYL who took over and then Finally Siyad. That's possibly why they have a strong 'disdain' for governed 'clans' as they may detect a 'weakness' may be exposed among them clan.

PS - In 99 it wasn't bullet fest, that is lie, they carved up their 'green lines' and it was just loot-loot-loot, there was nothing to fight over. Similar to GM now that's how it was with cadaado-dhusomareeb-baralax cutting green lines, they agree 'lets not fight' there is no govt to fight over, lets continue the loot and disruption activities down south
