MIT Study Reveals Why Africa Is Still Poor

I find myself bored with the tired trope of blaming the cadaan man, although, to be frank, I have employed it as a coping mechanism for the disappointing and sorry state of the African. The study looks into the historical reality that predates colonization, revealing Africa's lagging position. Supposedly, the wheel wasn’t even used South of the Sahara and the lack of institutions that fosters growth and technological advancements has always been an issue.

The Cadaan destroyed the indigenous institutions Africans had to prevent one-man rule. Belgium after decades of brutal rule destroyed everything, documents, buidlings and even uprooting railway systems.

Surely it was in Somalia right? I was racking my brain about that when I heard a white supremacist jest at Africa's historical lack of a wheel. We have had donkeys so carts are a must!

I doubt it wasn’t used in Somalia. Even in the absence of indigenous innovation, the geographical proximity of our nation to the Arab world undeniably influenced a rich tapestry of interactions with a variety of civilizations beyond SSA. The strategic position of Somalia, likely afforded our ancestors access to technological advancements.

Lack of investment in quality education and lack of investment in public health is the reason africa is poor. The more you invest in these two areas, the more you develop.

It's dumb to blame cadaans for the state of Africa. But one of the reasons Africa didnt have access to these technologies is due to sahara being a barrier for trade and ideas.
