Leading to and during the elections, I've been seeing twitter posts making the false claim that Obama settled 70,000 Somali refugees in Minnesota and is now boosting the votes of Somali-American candidates like Ilhan Omar and Omar Fateh. Reuters already debunked this false claim. The real number is 47,442 Somali refugees arrived in the US between 2009 - 2017 and of those only 5,524 were settled in the state of Minnesota.
