No family back home? How is that possible? This is like those Italian Americans who have no connection to Italy anymore

Third gen immigrant. Only my dads brother lives back home but thats because he moved there 2 months ago to marry someone. Mums side i have no one there. Dads side only got 1 person there.

we all moved to the west. Im talking like 30 of us in the early 1990s/2000s.

We have discussions on somalia and ive even told them the Ogaden is somali they dont care i promise you. Some of my closest friends are oromo they do not care about somalis. Stop generalising a whole group of people
