One of the most ignorant and selfless (in a bad way) post you can make. I suggest you learn about darwinism and the selfish gene theory.

I'll keep it short. An ecosystem where all organisms are selfish will not prosper, an ecosystem where everyone shares will prosper. But an ecosystem where everyone is selfless with a minority of selfish organism will allow the selfish ones to prosper at the expense of the generous ones.

Organism that are generous to selfish organisms tend to go extinct very quickly. By sharing a mutualistic symbiotic relationship where you help your benefactors would be best.

In short, you'd have to be an imbecile to help those who turned a blind eye to you. They lost nothing while you were losing everything, and then gained something when they were lost while you still lost something even when you gained. Tell me who won that trade off.

There's nothing wrong with being kind and generous, there is something wrong with being generous without thought or discrimination. I hate people who help for the sake of helping only to come out on bottom
