Because women are not masters of anything, they are always in one way or another subjectated to the chains of society, either by their family or other males or by societal customs, men for the most part are not controlled by women in any way, only by other men, the only women who have the ability to have a large degree of any control are the ones born into privelage or with great beauty(Which only gets so far especially in the past) which is a very rare amount of women, the vast majority of women are average at best and are usually forced to settle for less or do it by their own choice
,Men have it much easier in life to chose the amount of money they make, traverse different walks of life with ease compared to women who have many barriers, men don't have the shackles of giving birth to and raising children, Men can do what they want basically and noone will say anything.
