I think his use of the words 'product' 'fresh' and 'quality' should tell you everything.
Also, clearly he thinks a £1-5k mehr means he is buying goods. Its akin to him buying new trainers or laptops. So of course, the past of the owner means nothing compared to that of the past of the actual 'product' that is being bought.
