You don’t need the permission of your wife to marry another. The prophet (saw) loved her he said khadija’s (RA) love was a form of provision for me even Aisha (RA)was jealous of his love for khadija.

Having more than one wife simultaneously is an near impossible task, especially when done with Somali women. Seeing multiple women, even via the illegible method of Islam (max. 4 wives), would still cause problems, and would eventually warrant you a divorce paper.

Many (men) seek more than wife subsequent to the death of the one's prior to others. This practice is normal and absolutely Halaal; and it also causes less complications and less drama.

How do men with two or multiple wives divide their time with each wife? For example how many days does each wife get? How about Ramadan? Who does he celebrate Ramadan with? Eid? Which wife does he spend Eid with? I'm very curious about this, he's a human being and eventually he will unintentionally make a wife feel left out. I feel sorry for co-wives, imagine sharing your man.

A husband shouldn't be 4 sharing,marriage is a unity between TWO people,anything outside that isn't even marriage. A married man shouldn't have to be with his wife of the time to prove he ain't cheating,but he should be loyal to only her. Polygamy goes against that.also I'm against polygamy because its not suitable for this day and age.

For the vast majority of people I would agree. Those with the means and ability to tend and care for more than one family can and should marry more than one wife. Also life is much more simpler and cheaper in the developing world.

Personally I'll stick with one to minimize the headaches and hoops I'll eventually have to go through. Housing, education, healthcare and etc are very expensive. I won't give my children a worse quality of life than the one I received.
