This isn't about a couple divorcing whilst healthy, it is about a couple divorcing whilst sick. Also, considering that women do most of the cooking, cleaning and child rearing whilst working, why would a man file for divorce? Men are much more likely to cheat. They can have their mistress and come home to a clean house.
Of course a woman who is educated with more money is more likely to leave. If you have no money and no education how will you leave even if your husband is abusing you? That is simple common sense. Historically women would stay with men even whilst he battered day and night because they had no means to support themselves.

But ya that guy is saying men only leave when it’s cervical cancer ? Lol, the reports suggest and what we the girls who have WORKED in retirements and nursing homes … it can range from anything to Alzheimer’s, dementia, and any other sickness where these ladies were left to be in these homes. But the husbands with these same ailments all had wifey there.
