Khat is unfortunately a powerful drug that we have to raise public awareness on, right now it is temporarily banned but eventually it will be lifted as countless of our men back home are heavily dependent on for number of reasons that could be treated medically or through employment and education. Banning it is never going to work as long as there's a demand for it, khat will make it's way to those who are willing to buy it. The goal should be educated the mass particularly the youth on the harmful nature of khat.
