The enforcement of money laundering sanctions has caused inflated land prices to fall, which has then hurt land owners and shabab, so they are now both watching their assets value crumble 🤣

Beenta naga dhaaf niyahow the economy is so much better now, just look at all the construction going on around the city, and no one in their right mind is reminiscing about the endless bombings and blocked roads that characterised his term.

Farmaajo is every laangaabs hope with the rest supporting either hsm or one of the previous presidential candidates
Sorry, my brother but the economy is much worse. HSM even admitted that some time ago but, just like you, blamed shabab and shaxaad.
I am not blaming your uncle, my waceysle friend. It's common for people to always blame the current administration for everything even if the govt isn't t cause.
But if you lived in Xamar you'd know.
Construction boom doesn't always mean economy is good. Bilcaksi, removing squatters from govt buildings caused massive problems.
The average person can't afford these new built homes.

Bombings declined but robbery, theft, violence and petty crimes didn't.

Farmaajo is every laangaabs hope

Is it a lie though :trumpsmirk:

You misunderstood me. I was just expressing disagreement with your position.

Oh really? How badly did ciyaal weero affect your neighbourhood?

Evictions were badly needed for security reasons alone, in my opinion. What problems do you speak of?
Most people rent and don't buy a house anyway, well at least for most reer gobol and even newly-wed locals.

There were no Ciyaal weero in my xaafad. But I hear good work has been done in kaaraan. However, many other parts still suffer from these types of crimes.
Evictions caused the rent to go up and the evicted must now divert some of their earnings towards rent, worsening their situation - crime follows poverty.

Home construction isn't keeping up with population growth - and rent is often not affordable - not for the evicted, not for the new comers.

Crisis in other regions is causing massive influx of people, too.

My point was about how people feel and that these issues are real and they blame HSM, even if he's not objectively responsible.
