Member of Parliament: HSM is not ready for the 2026 lections

Only hawiye voting for him is waceysle i dont even think all of abgaal want him on the seat let alone hawiye
Unfortunately, Presidents aren't elected by the public. However, the one thing that matters the most to people is their livelihood which has deteriorated since HSM term. The average person isn't politically savvy.
Most Abgaal, even Wacaysle, reminisce about Farmaajo because the economy was much better.

In Xamar, people either support their closest kinsman or Farmaajo.

Ik i was in xamar earlier this year most hg niggas wanted farmaajo back since their daily lives back then was much better compared to now (according to them) and with abgaal its mostly sharif and with murusade is khayre.

If next elections do actually deliver with this 1p1v elections it will be interesting to see how it plays out

Funny thing is, your underwear colors match lol. Does it have to do something with your perceived economic hardships?

Saaxib he fully is ruining any chances of greater Somalia being a thing. He's just making Puntland and even other regions separate from Somalia. This might even give Somaliland more hope of actually succeeding. It would be the end for us.

The vast majority of Somalis have no idea whatsoever what a massive catastrophe it would be for Somalia to break up. It would mean the permanent irrevocable end of any prospect of a united Somaliweyn.

I think too many Somalis have swallowed the Ethiopian propaganda peddled over the past decades that Somaliweyn is an unachievable goal. The truth is that Somaliweyn is achievable and it should be our longterm goal. The breakup of Somalia is what would make it impossible.

Puntland is not allowed to leave Somalia. If Somaliland can not leave then the exact same applies to Puntland. You are stuck in the Crab Bucket with the rest of us until the Day of Judgement.
Even that I support somalinimo as single state but what was said is true.

If HSM continue to rule puntland will try to secede and this will open the same opportunity to jubbaland and the rest of central and south states to do the same which will bring an end to FGS

ethiopia + kenya = 150+ million. somalis are not sensing any danger. if somalia broke up then somaliweyn would most likely slowly decay like andalus. jijiga diri dhabe are small examples.

Unfortunately Somalis are mentally defeated which is the worst kind of defeat

The enforcement of money laundering sanctions has caused inflated land prices to fall, which has then hurt land owners and shabab, so they are now both watching their assets value crumble 🤣

Beenta naga dhaaf niyahow the economy is so much better now, just look at all the construction going on around the city, and no one in their right mind is reminiscing about the endless bombings and blocked roads that characterised his term.

Farmaajo is every laangaabs hope with the rest supporting either hsm or one of the previous presidential candidates
