This is really true. All my life I’ve always seen the kids identify with their maternal side. Who you marry plays a role in your child’s identity. So if you want your child to be Somali marry a Somali women
I have met some like this. Great grand mother was Oromo and they all married into Somali families yet were still Oromo culturally and even the grandkids speak it. They’ve never went to Oromia too. I never liked the family not cause they were Oromo but because they stole other people’s land and sold it. Weirdly they hated poor Oromos and Somalis. Odd bunch.
