This is a systemic issues..majority of the wealthy Somali folks in MN own business that provide services to DHS (department of human services). They all copy each other…if one agency is doing fraud and making alot of money they brag about it and other agency do the same. DHS busienss are not designed to make you a millionaire…they are designed to have little profit as most of the expense go to taking care of the needy and elderly.

The fact that DHS related busienss appear to make owners alot of money is driving more young Somali entrepreneurs into those programs to milk as much money as possible while doing the least amount of work. It’s sad that Somalis in Minneapolis have given up on the private sector and just look to scam government programs.
