What does it matter, Somalia receives millions in aid, where does the money go?Banadir barely collects taxes, FGS takes the vast majority of revenue from Xamar so how is Madaale to blame?
Roads need drainage and that’ll take a long term investment
The money the FGS takes goes to other HAG states security apparatus maybe Baidoa takes a cut but thats about it.Banadir barely collects taxes, FGS takes the vast majority of revenue from Xamar so how is Madaale to blame?

Well then blame the NGOs and international donors? Banadir budget has only just passed $50 million. Djibouti with a third of the population is $600 million. Attacking Madaale for this is just low IQ stuff. What does it matter, Somalia receives millions in aid, where does the money go?
It's absolutely ridiculous that a capital city can look like this every time it rains.
It primarily goes to ministers/ parliamentarians/civil service which compromises all the states and the SNA.The money the FGS takes goes to other HAG states security apparatus maybe Baidoa takes a cut but thats about it.
Federal institutions are funded by the IC usually. Outside of that cut minister salaries and give SNA a raise. It primarily goes to ministers/ parliamentarians/civil service which compromises all the states and the SNA.
I don't want to rant but before N&N it used to be 75% to the FGS and 25% to Banaadir but Farmaajo changed it, when Yariisow died and is today 85% to the FGS and 15% to BRA.Federal institutions are funded by the IC usually. Outside of that cut minister salaries and give SNA a raise.
I believe whatever Xamar is taxed for should stay in the city and its environsI don't want to rant but before N&N it used to be 75% to the FGS and 25% to Banaadir but Farmaajo changed it, when Yariisow died and is today 85% to the FGS and 15% to BRA.
We will keep quiet during this crucial war against the Khwaarij scum, but.....Well once we secure the core, mighty karbaash is in order.
The more things change the more they stay the same. You screamed the same with Farmaajo along with other opposition leaders now you say the same. The fact of the matter is that we need a drainage system now. Farmaajo failed but HSM must not in this because all of the infrastructure will go to waste every rainy season. We cannot be killed by rain and drought in the 21st century.Banadir barely collects taxes, FGS takes the vast majority of revenue from Xamar so how is Madaale to blame?

Yh of course we need to do something but it’s best we be realistic, blaming a mayor who’s been there months for the usual flooding isn’t it.The more things change the more they stay the same. How much do you think it costs to build an effective drainage system along with a sewage system in Mogadishu?Yh of course we need to do something but it’s best we be realistic, blaming a mayor who’s been there months for the usual flooding isn’t it.
Hopefully we can sign some deals with countries for drainage once we start seeing foreign investment
This is gonna sound coonish but maybe it’s better if IC actually administered the city leadership, at least until corruption is stamped out.Federal institutions are funded by the IC usually. Outside of that cut minister salaries and give SNA a raise.
These are super outdated but BRA and Somaliland are the only regions that receive(d) less aid than the revenue they collect.xamar isn’t specially its welfare state like rest of Somalia View attachment 269246

Maybe Xamar probably has best shot and is richest. The main source of FGS funds is Xamar, and more specifically customs duty at port. if all the aid is cut it will definitely have some impact on that 100M. That aid money recirculates multiple times in economy of all of somalia. Without it we will be poorer, less purchasing power and less imports. These are super outdated but BRA and Somaliland are the only regions that receive(d) less aid than the revenue they collect.
In my opinion BRA can more than function on its own if it takes 50% of the revenue generated in Xamar, instead of the current 15%. Those projects were at their height 163million and more than 70% of that sum were meant for the IDPs in Banaadir camps.
Do you really think BRA can't operate with an annual budget of 110million? And if no tell me why and what sum do you think is necessary for BRA to be self-sufficient?
