I was just scrolling through my IG feed and came across this on the Explore page. As you can see there's a black Muslim girl with a crop top and hijab. Improper hijab, whatever. Tell me why the comments are filled with Somalis claiming her saying to these ajanabi Muslims under the post "As a Somali, we don't claim her. She's a disgrace to our culture."

Mind you, we can't even see her face due to how fast she's flipping around in the air around her brother's or husband's shoulders, so she could very much be West African or AA, but some of these silly Somalians rushed in to acquiesce to the invisible moral judgment of faceless ajanabis.

This is something I started to witness with friends of mine too especially during 2020 peak years all of a sudden Somalis were claiming Ls as if they were ws .

I talked in third person because my post didn't apply to me or any other Somali that don't express that behavior. It's why I specified it was "some Somalis" instead of generalizing. Other posts I made criticizing the actions of similar demographics in this community I probably phrased it in a similar fashion.

@DojaKhat & I are as Somali as it comes. I know there is a trend of weird ajnabis larping as Somali so this may not be convincing to you but I can assure you we are not foreigners. If we were we'd likely throw a lot of insults around like dhageexs do on twitter.
