Tbh I think it’s more about democracy then it is about freedom, if they let this guy stay in power, it would be 1991 all over again. Democracy paves the path for economic development, and that’s why they fear a dictatorship.

What do you mean? Majority of somalilanders elected Muuse Biixi as the president of somaliland, in a democratic way, what makes it dictatorship if the president extends his term to two years? There’s more important things to worry about like draught and inflation, than elections right now.

I said if anything happens, for example, if agreement not reached ASAP or protesters out of hands, ministers and all other government officials resigns or even Muse Bihi resigns or anything else happens, Power will be automatically transferred to head of the Guurti, Saleebaan Gaal will be the interim president of Somaliland.

They should change the term to 7 years since 2 previous presidents already did that but with the stipulation that if the president serves more than 5 years he can't run again which is similar to the Philippines' system.
