Those are populated districts, but they are not very large in terms of land area. Dayniile is probably the largest district in terms of land. area.

From what I can tell, the fastest growth is taking place south of the Green Line.

My friend,

1. These district boundaries have been in place since the 1980s.
2. Yaaqshid and Karaan in your mind include unincorporated areas of Banaadir region that are not part of Mogadishu. Hawlwadaag, Wardhiigley and Yaaqshid are not going to be expanded north of Jidka Warshadaha. Everything north of Jidka Warshadaha but south of the boundry with Lower Shabelle will probably be made into one new district or two.
3. Daarusalaam is probably too deep inside Afgooye (KGS) to ever be included in Banaadir.

They were announced on the same day that Darusalaam was announced as a district. Basically garasbaaley and gubadley were formed to distract @Jungle’s people from Darusalaam. I have been telling him that Darusalaam was carved out of Yaaqshiid but he kept arguing with me saying it was carved out of Dayniile

I have never seen revenue data for Banaadir.
Would be interested in Nov data if you have it.

The thing is you just read some reports, looked at muqdisho map along with some guesswork. Howlwadaag and Wardhiigleey could never expand because Yaaqshid controlled all land north of them.

It's commonly known that Dayniile and Yaaqshid shared a border even @Step a side will admit that. A number of mataan goofs of Yaaqshid turned into Daruusalaam estate which is surrounded by abgaal goofleey

Mataan goofs of Heliwaa turned into Gubadleey a 100% Harti Abgaal district.

'In your mind' don't waste your time reading about muqdisho eboow the city has expanded into LS.

lol what 2? Gubadley is carved up from Kaaraan. You didn’t gain anything from it because it was already yours. Meanwhile a huge district was carved up from Yaaqshiid and given to Duduble
Another thing I would like to point out to you is that Darusalaam ‘city’ is 45% within Dayniile district and 55% within Darusalaam district. How do you feel now?

I live in warta nabada and used to travel straight into Gubta-Dayniile without having to go past Yaaqshiid. The old borders of Yaaqshiid used to run parallel to Warta nabada and Dayniile but now Yaaqshiid only shares border with Warta nabada as shown on this map.

Dayniile used to share a border with Yaaqshiid. Yaaqshiid was huge but now it is a small district. Hormuud payed crazy sums to carve Darusalaam from Yaaqshiid. Dayniile now shares border with Darusalaam.

Kaaraan used to stretch all the way up to Ceel Macaan following the coast. Now it’s the same size as Hodan. It’s clear that gubadley was carved out from Kaaraan.
