In my humble opinion, I think that UK mathows are less racist to Somalis than arabs. In fact they just seem like a hateful bunch in general; as they even insult South Asians alot (especially Pakistanis). This is just what I've noticed from social media anyway. Honestly imo mathows and Somalis had beef in school but most grew out of it. Theres actually no beef irl tbh most Somalis/Mathows get on fine however online is a different story for some reason. In school Somalis catch corn but we would turn around and insult them back. Some people here exaggerate and are too sensitive.

It's possible they still harbour those feelings of disdain, but since they're more mature now they're more aware of the consequences of their words, which is why they might not say those things in public. But being behind a computer screen could loosen their restraints. If you get a random UK mathow's person @ and type "Somalian" next to it, there's a 80% chance that they said some foul shit about us, pretty recently too. It's absolutely not normal
