I think that in these types of tricky situations your objective ought to be to secure your well-being and not hurt the other person. Sure it might sound easier said than done but it isn't worth the negative light that gets shone down upon you after you chain together a mesmerising a 30-hit combo and a finisher. The best solution would be to try and walk away and if that doesn't work, blocking their attacks and if that doesn't work then I believe that you should use whatever force is necessary to dissuade or debilitate to the point where they won't be able to harm you.
Verbal abuse is soft and spitting is nasty but I don't think they warrant a Falcon Punch.
If the worst comes to the worst you should use minimal force.

Though social media may focus on randomn women squaring up to men in the streets, majority of these issues probably occur on an ongoing basis btwn partners. The women should obviously not start a physical fight but if you're going to respond to each punch with 10x as much force you'll probably have the police over at your house a lot. I've seen some articles (due to recent cases of violence) about how the cute yet "psycho" woman is made light of so this kind of behaviour seems to be normalized at a societal level.
At the same time, I do think it shows strong character to restrain the weaker individual as much as possible. I remember during childhood my cadaan neighbours wife was hitting him and he just restrained her/held down her hands for what seemed like a very long time and eventually she got tired and stopped.
tldr: don't runneth up but if you do prepare to be doneth up (hopefully in a controlled manner)

The problem with this mentality is that it shows young women that they can do whatever the f*ck they want and get away with it.Men are physically stronger than woman, if she hits you walk away like a real man.
It's like a adult hitting a toddler or a teenager who's clearly physically incable of doing you any real damage.
