From what i can tell so far the guy is referring to the symbolic nature of the 5-point star, it has been used as a religious symbol in other religions like christianity, wicca etc. Which is why he is against it, says it's satanic etc and tbh from a historical pov the facts are too many to ignore. However for us somalis it's usage is different but i never understood the reasoning behind the colour though.

If you look at the somali coat of arms, the golden heads to be specific they have crosses in them. That's just to much of a coincidence what do you lot think ?

I wish that was the case, colonialism has impacted us in more ways that we are willing to acknowledge. In our penal code we're still using laws that were written by the italians, isn't this an indication that we've major issues that need resolving ?
