Mamulka Vs Dawlada

What is the meaning between these two words. One minute you hear Mamulka Galkacyo and then you hear Mamulka Puntland used in the same breath? Is this even proper Somali to say an administration of a city is equal to that of a state or even multiple states?

In Somalia the government process looks like this to me

Local Council = Neighborhoods of a city
State government = Multiple cities, towns, villages within carved up border based on electoral borders of 1991
Regional Government = Multiple states carved based on electoral borders of 1991
Federal Government = Consists of all Regional government and the Federal capital
Federal Capital Territory = Status is un-decided due to security problems

What are the equivalent Somali word for 'Regional Government'. Because the only closest thing is mamul goboleed and that actually means 'state government' which was taken from the old centralist government. I guess it's time we create a new word for 'regional government' because it means multiple 'Gobols' not just 'one Gobol'. I think we should just Dawlada Regionalka ee Puntland. We Somalis always used loan-words from other languages when we couldn't create a word for something we lacked in our vocabulary so don't act like it's something new boys.

I love Teeri. I never got him banned, we have some of the most informative discussions on here beyond the 'ii jiid aan ku jiid' crowd on Somalispot. We actually talk about things that are benefit for the nation, rather then the same old 'dahir alasow' method of shock and horror

Apparently he has been banned.

I have no issue with MJ what happened between MJ/OG in the 90s was a big mistake which we all should regret.

I admire MJ politics in Somalia which I aspire every Cagdheer to follow unfortunatly they dont and out leaders always have illusions they support enemies to grow and starve their own.


All I want is the admin to release Teeri him from captivity.If he doesn't conform the least you could do is delete his posts that are not in line but dont ban him.

I don't know maybe you can speak to the admin. But I do know one thing someone must of reported him and the admin checked, it wasn't me I can guarantee you that. In-fact I don't report anyone, I haven't been offended by anyone post beyond irritation at stupidity levels
