I just recently found out about this Somali woman
http://www.wardheernews.com/mama-malyun-names-and-shames/
After seeing a video on insta about her talking her hijab off.
Did a bit of research and WoW she’s a poor deranged soul that is the source of entertainment for some somali comedians.
I didn’t know about her because I wasn’t in tune with the whole Dabcasar thing last year
I also found out that you like her @Reiko
What does sspot think about this
Mama Malyun is a revered Somali intellectual. She is a heroine of our time. She's expressing her solidarity with oppressed Muslim sisters in Iran who are resisting forced veiling. Lots of Muslimahs are doing it on Twitter. God bless the mama.

I realised it’s not my business
I just found about her and I wondered where’s her family
Dadka ceebtod waa laa asturaa like the cambuulo guys said in he drug conviction thread :farmajoyaab:

What’s the “ceebtooda”, the hijab or her opinions?
You’re entitled to your opinion. I remember, you’re atheist? Let’s put hijab on one side for a second. Just found out shes been on social media platforms for years exposing and dramas. I want to know more about her. Why’s her family not there for this woman, that in my opinion in the politest way possible looks quite unstable.

You want to be respected to let you express your opinions even if they are at odds with everyone else’s, fair dinkum and you are entitled to it. But why can’t you extend that noble concept to mama malyuun? If you don’t like what she says, why would you want an adult be silenced? Your main point was the hijab but you ducked. Give other people the freedoms bestowed upon you if they aren’t harming anyone.
