This trouble started in 2004 during the Tsunami disaster when Saudi Arabia came to the aid of the victims in Maldives. They blamed the Tsunami as a punishment from God for the Maldivians not practising Islam properly and they never left.

I wanted to go there however now that its popular destination for somalis it's not so appealing to me anymore. I'll wait for the paradise in aqira instead lol

There are two Maldives that don't see one another. The Western tourists in their own resorts/islands and the locals in their over-crowded towns and cities, where do the Somali tourists stay?

Somalis Probably go to the cheapest destinations for their social media lol i know when i researched it while day dreaming at work there where private beaches that only helicopter went to and they charged 5k to 10k a night.
