Have you ever been made to clean dishes by your friends after a feed?

This girl invited us to her new house made us a nice dinner and at the end told all of us to get up and start cleaning the dishes ..


I was like excuse me
why did you invite us and expect us to clean it for you? We are guests that's rude

I would never make my guests clean the dishes, they can help up clearing / cleaning the dinner table etc but not my kitchen, that's my job to do when they leave. All I want to do is eat and chit chat and relax while they are their.

It's poor hostess etiquette to expect your guests to do any hard labour. They must all be pampered with good company (lots of laughs), food (considering their dietary restrictions), drink and appreciated for their time.
