Instead lets talk about how this deal could change the country, very excited to know what they have to offer, if its only one oil rig im going to be very disappointed tho

If TPAO try to move at least 5 rigs FGS is going to be making insane amounts of money, before recovery 1.8 billion USD at current prices and after recovery 4.2 billion usd, a huge boost from their 1 billion usd annual budget which is 60% funded by c6

The end of al shabaab inshallah, the country hasn’t been making its own decisions in due part to the c6.

Lol you really think c6 was like "Hey we giving you billions to defeat shabaab but dont defeat them ok"
Not sure where you got that, nigga with a Epstein picture. Al shabaab is a Somali rooted issue.

Things that Somalia has been forced to keep in wraps because of IC include irredentism, its military size, the weapons it has access to etc.

Shit it's in GM....

Clan wars fueled by oil is not something I want to see in a few years...
Lol its offshore, unless they go and claim something 50kms from the shore on speedboats I dont see a problem

I think Galmudug gets like 10% since its in their waters, for the most under-funded state in Somalia with the smallest population this is huge, I hope they get the oil industry jobs so they can stop killing each others

Galmudug will not be a problem they literally only have 1 million people and one city and like 4 highways the whole state can be developed with less than a billion, believe me if that oil money ever comes their way you wont hear them fighting for water or other dumb things

Here is the model FGS says they will follow, FGS holds 10% of SONOC and FMS hold 15%, with the other 75% of shares distributed to big Somali Oil companies like Hass and SFC

I think its a great way of distributing the wealth to the population

They're basically trying to make SONOC the Somali Petronas of Malaysia, wonder if this will work
