When there is very little to go round people get selfish. But with recognition comes more investment. The eastern regions are better off in Somaliland - a stable region with a longer track record than Somalia. It will be easier to get investment into Somaliland.

They’ve clearly made a deal with amhar, they’re not exactly losing if that’s what your thinking, they’ve held back on using their arsenal on amhar. They’ve been saving all their toys from Russia, Abu Dhabi, and turkey for us. Idk where u get this false sense of security.

somaliland equipped and trained by Ethiopia is a threat to ciise samaroon, the amount of equipment they receive will decide their outcome with khatumo.

Ethiopia and Isaaq first and most important interest will be to secure the MOU and make sure the area is safe if the Ethiopians are going to arrive.

As for Khaatumo, the status quo will remain the same for a while. SL consist of tribal Militias where the generals steal vast amounts of money . They are not going to magically transform into professional army over night .Hartis just have to match that and the Isaaqs won’t be able to cross one inch from their side. Also, Ethiopia has little to gain from directly becoming embroiled in this.
