Twitter. From many different people, generally when dhulbahante and issaq report the same thing it’s real. And this is one of those cases. Issaq were reporting high ranking military in hargeisa surveying the area, and dhulo are saying not only are they there, but they plan on taking part in the next big conflict. So what we can surmise from this is that there’s Ethiopian Sarkal present in waqooyi.

I can decipher the mind of this 68 IQ somali regional leader muuse fircoon. He will most likely reignite the conflict between Dhulos and H Jeclo as the time nears for the Presidential election than order the military for another invasion into Sool.

Why do you think it's not going to happen?
They don’t really need recognition if they become militarily and economically separate from the rest of Somalia. Because then they’ll be independent by force. They plan to use Ethiopian might to gain this, and not a finger lifted at such aggression. Ethiopians have gathered 10’s of thousands of troops at the ethio Somali border. We got Eritrea and Egypt so I’m not too worried. But they’ll only help if they see Somalia fighting.

Yes but not by force. When it’s through force that’s when the rest of the world will accept it. Their funds are also tied to xamar. Right now they’re autonomous not exactly independent.
What kind of force are we talking about? Somaliland's military was decimated last year and Ethiopia is too preoccupied internally by rebel factions.

Fancy equipment alone doesn't gurantee victory. You saw what happened in Yemen where despite having top quality equipmenr the Saudis failed to defeat the Yemenis. Unless Ethiopian troops come directly to Khatumo then its nothing to worry about.
You also ignored the fact that Somalia will also be getting weapons from Turkey and other countries. If it becomes a full blown war then it won't be easy for SL and Ethiopia.

You lot are out of your minds if you think there's a civil war coming to Somalia any time soon. The US will never allow it. Somalia will be partitioned before anyone gets to fight a civil war and take the attention away from the extremists.

I think we are all getting confused. Recognition is coming. I don't know if it's coming from the west or if Somaliliand with get AU membership or UN membership those are much higher goals. We just need a few to get started with some economic and military ties to shore up the state building project against Somalia trying stuff.
Its not a civil war if Ethiopia decides to intervene and meddle in Somalia's affairs. Frankly speaking, the US wouldn't allow it and will tell Ethiopia to back away since America has a vested interest in Somalia.

Why the hell would Ethiopia do that? They need a port and a port isn't in Lasanood. Damn you guys have a strange fixation with Khatumo. You been trying to convince Somalilanders it's the be all and end all and ended up gaslighting yourselves.
Exactly, why should Ethiopia waste its troops, weapons and money for you guys? Unfortunately however, you guys need Ethiopia since your military has proven itself incompetent and there has been no signs of SL trying to get weapons or military alliances like Somalia has.

Somaliland controls most of it's territory and all the territory that any other country might be interested in. We don't need 10 MoUs for security. All we need is a training arrangement with an army better than ours and some new equipment - small steps.
Like I said there's no civil war so why do you think we need to match Somalia. Somalia can't even control it's waters like Somaliland does.
