70% of Somalia is under 30. Also one thing I seen about xamar is I rarely see men in their 50’s and 60’s. Basically around my fathers age. It’s mainly kids, young adults, women and elderly

Yeah, I was there in 2013 and this summer. I have never seen that many children before and most of those I saw, were born right before I came and left. Somalia needs quick change, to sustain the growing population. We cannot be food insecure, otherwise and we cannot rely upon and wait for aid every time the rainy seasons fail. I am happy that so many children are born, but they not gonna reach the age of 15 if we cannot sustain ourselves. Also there are almost no companies, Young people either work at the airport or bajaaj.
