There’s 2 different groups, the ones that speak maxaa tiri and intermarry with some somalis, and the ones that are more Kenyan/Tanzanian in culture and even their accents when they speak english. the latter take on African American culture when raised here, the men specifically.then youve never met them tbh, there as somali culturally as everyone else
Yeah me too it’s becoming the norm. Ceeb badana. It’s not from our culture.Lol I've seen African and Cribbean songs being played quite a few times at weddings.

They were playing some African songs as well. I never saw that at regular Somali weddings.

Tbh somali weddings in the west are not really "somali". I went to a few. Except for the diraac nothing is somali. The food, the music ( Drake....) etc. very westernized.
