This type of unity only comes about after a brutal civil war with mass culling in the millions, and unimaginable suffering of the masses.
The Europeans had it twice, so did the American's in their civil war, the same for China and Japan.
The Jews are probably the best example as they have been persecuted throughout history, and as a result from a unity perspective they are unmatched.
We see this even in the Seerah were prior to Medina migration you had the brutal 100 year civil war between the tribes, were they culled each other to the point the youth were yearning for a leader and unity.
However this doesn't last many generations, and dies down quickly usually by the third generation its dead and the process needs to begin again.
The Somali diaspora hasn't faced any of it, we fled the civil war, and the civil war itself due to foreign interference didn't run its course, and we see the ramifications of this.
As for the African American, the memories of slavery is long gone, after it was abolished, the two generations that followed was their best, they have been in rapid decline ever since.
You may ask why such culling and vicious wars are required, well its simple, when faced with existential threat, all the nihilism, egoism, selfishness, pettiness and delusions that keep us occupied and divided goes out of the window, the weak are eliminated from the gene pool, and the strong survive who pass this on to their kids.
Look at Palestine as an example how it united Muslim groups that were at each other throats prior, Salafis sitting with Sufis in conferences which was unheard off, the Shia and Sunni no longer at each other thoats, and even the butchers that supported Assad and those opposed to him are all united on Palestine.
This is the fickleness of humans, whereby they only act when disasters and calamity strikes, its an unfortunate reality today, but that's the only way to snap them out of their heedlessness.

I saw a good example in the comments; when someone says Karen you assume it's a white woman even though it might not always be, same thing is applied to uk beast, its used mostly against black women and they have become connected to it. there's no point in deflecting and saying that its being used against other races when we all nkniw the purpose of the term.
