It started with Somali leaders selling ports to Dubai now it has reached animals.

Certain foreign countries and companies are buying it.

Is it the Chinese, Iranians or even other hostile nations?

The same thing happened in the 90's when the UN Peace keeping mission was in Somalia where there was a rush for another animal sold for a high value.

Dumb Somalis supplying foreign countries with materials they don't know what will be done with it. If one turtle costs $200000 imagine what it is used for? Sadly nobody knows the buyers will sell it on even more pricier and making large profit.

Is there no government in Mogadishu? The secret intelligence service must find out who the dealers are and where this turtles are transported to!

How do they get them out?

Bribing port officials ir direct private planes? Diplomatic missions?
