If i was HSM i would reshape Somalia's regional make-up completely. We need 7 states, North West, North Central, North East, Central, South West, South East, South Central.

Waqooyi Galbeed i.e North West (Awdal + Hargeisa + Togdheer), Waqooyi Dhexe i.e North Central (Sool + Sanaag), Waqooyi Bari i.e North East (Bari + Nugaal + N.Mudug), Gobolada Dhexe i.e Central (S.Mudug + Galgaduud), Koonfur Dhexe i.e South Central (Hiiraan + M.Shabelle), Koonfur Galbeed i.e South West (Bay + Bakool + L.Shabelle), Koonfur Bari i.e South East (Gedo + M.Juba + S.Juba).

Some of the sensitive border areas like Togdheer, Sanaag, Mudug, Lower Shabelle, Middle Juba etc should be taken into consideration in this new design.

Muqdisho can keep a special status, where the mayor/governor is given the same allocation and priviledges as the states.

If Somaliwayn ever expands we can incorporate K5 as Galbeed region, Djibouti as Waqooyi region, NFD as Koonfur region and Socotra as Bari region.

DDS is bigger than Somalia proper and with the recent new regions, it's will have close to Somalia's 18 regions. NEP Kenya is half the size of Somalia. Each one of NFDs 3 counties is equivalent to a Somalia federal state. There are qabiils that are massive in Somaliweyn that have entire regions and states (eg Garre, Degoodi etc) that barely exist in Somalia. Somaliweyn is massive and if it ever becomes a reality it will drastically change the socio-economic set up of Somalia.

The three most prominent suldaans of Warsangeli suldaan saciid( Cumar ) suldaan cartan ( dubays) and suldaan Ciid ( reer salah) are all Puntlanders and stated this on video after khatumo faked letters from them. Khatumo resorted to calling out tiktokers and fake suldaans to drive waqooyi bari home . Non of them will be able to even visit the lands they suppose to represent
