I don't think any Maasai clan specifically claims a Somali lineage; they would probably reference the fact they absorbed southern Cushites as they entered that part of East Africa
 
Well, you haven't interacted with their elders. They do and consider us as their kin.

Yeah, they probably do consider you their kin, but do they actually consider themselves directly descended from Somalis?

Nilo-Saharans and Cushites have been interacting for thousands of years; we have common Ancestral East African ancestors; and we have similar pastoralist lifestyles

Some of the clans within Masai claim to have a Somali ancestor, but overall Masai consider Somalis as their next of kin.

Southern Nilotes all interacted and mixed with early Omo Tana speakers. Decent chance pre-pre-proto-Somalis are indeed their ancestors.
