- Equestrian statue of King Leopold II in Ostend (vandalised in 2004 and 2020).[44] In 2004 activist group De Stoete Ostendenoare symbolically cut off a bronze hand from one of the kneeling Congolese slaves who, as part of the 'Gratitude of the Congolese' group in the monument, honours Leopold II. The vandalist act was a reference to how Congolese slaves' hands were cut off if they did not produce enough rubber during Leopold's colonial regime. The activists were willing to give the hand back if a historically corrected text sign would be placed near the statue.[46]
- Buste in the King Albertpark (or Zuidpark) of Ghent (vandalised in 2018, 2019 and 2020).[43] This statue was previously vandalised in October and November 2018 and in July 2019, while activists demanded it be removed, along with all references to Leopold II such as street names due to his regime in Congo. Although the statue was not removed, the city council placed a text sign near the statue that reads: 'The city council regrets the many Congolese victims that have perished during the Free State.'[47]
- Brussels Capital Region: In early June 2020, a majority in the Brussels Parliament requested a committee to be set up to 'decolonise the public sphere'.[48]
- Equestrian statue on the Throne Square in Brussels (vandalised in 2008, 2018, 2019 and 2020).[49] It had previously been vandalised several times, including with red paint by Théophile de Giraud in 2008,[50][51] again with red paint in 2018,[48] and with white paint in November 2019.[51]
- Standing statue in the King's Garden of Brussels (erected in 1969)[52]
- Buste in Brussels-Auderghem (Boulevard du Souverain) (erected in 1930)[53]
- Buste in the Duden Park in Brussels-Forest[54]

- Standing statue on the Wiertz Square in Namur (erected in 1928)[57]

Incredible how people in cities like Milan, Brussels, Melbourne are protesting for an AA. I can guarantee you nobody here in America would protest on the street for you’re issues or struggles let alone point these places on the map.
In the U.S the average white or black person wouldn’t even be able to differentiate North Africans countries. Or even know where a place like Tunisia is. Funny thing is though, Morocco has a extremely postive reputation to Americans because of tourism. If I had to guess 80% of Americans don’t know Morocco is in Africa. What's even more funny is that in the last 10 years easily 99% of people killed by police officers in Belgium were north african...but you don't see them constantly crying or playing the victim.
Its all over belgium. You don’t want to know
How many statues of this guy do they have
Uhm they do. Moroccans are tired from that bullshit and they always made their voices known. They don’t like the police either and have voiced their opinion on national TV, social media and moreWhat's even more funny is that in the last 10 years easily 99% of people killed by police officers in Belgium were north african...but you don't see them constantly crying or playing the victim.

??? Is the situation in belgium that different??? Moroccans here just attack the the police whenever they cannot really (only on social media and it doesn't last more than 1 or 2 days in general)
