This is half true, however I've seen people with very very violent parents turn out to be successful in life- one guy I know is studying law. I would say environment is key as well, if the child's parents are violent but is removed from that environment and raised, as my friend was by his grandmother, then it makes a large difference. Similarly, if the child is raised in decay and violence, then they will be the product of such a thing. You reap what you sow sxb and these people sowed hatred and violence and will reap as such.
