Yea I’ve heard of oil companies suing the Ethiopian government in the past for selling oil rights to multiple companies. Oil in the Somali region was basically a way for the federal government to scam money from foreign companies

But with Cagjar in charge of K5, are things going to be different? He has close relations with the ruling party, and I wonder if the federal government will now be able to extract oil since it no longer has to worry about ONLF destroying any of their equipment and killing the workers like they did in the past
