The saying was "Qaan Marexaan Waa Qaaxo Kugu Maqan" Perhaps it's to pre emptively hide your losses should conflict take place and the cycle repeats with more Liyuu bakhti litter the ground. The Isaaq said something similiar before a full surrender to the Liyu. You will have a similiar ‘peace agreement’ soon. Dont you want peace in Ramadan

The “Ogaden” is doing alot of lifting in this narrative. Theres been no proven coordinated effort from the Makahiil let alone from the Liyu and by your own story there wasnt a Marexaan killed anyways.

For a covenant to be broken it has to be broken by the signatories of that covenant. You cant justify a clan war and rebellion in ramadan off of “an Ogaden killed a Galjecel in Fadhigaraadle”
