Wow!! Calling everyone GAAL is a hobby nowadays for these so called Sheikhs. Sports shouldn't distract you from your religious obligations like praying in congregation, praying the proper times etc... If it does then it becomes Haram (not GAAL), but if it doesn't distract you from obligatory duties then it's fine.
