Little heaven in Somaliland (Gudmo Biyo Cas)

Those trees are called "Maddaah" (Livistona carinensis). I read a report which mentioned that the plant was in serious decline. It is very limited in its worldwide distribution having been reported from only two other areas,Yemen and here, and is currently classed as “vulnerable” in the IUCN/WCMC World List of Threatened Species.
