I usually chop it in small pieces and use it as part of the recipe for a tasty pasta sauce, you should try my dish walahi it'll make you change your view on aubergines

Of course you wouldn't be one of them akhi, I generally avoid the ones I don't like. I agree with what you're saying, but sometimes these people may have something good to say but it's almost always overshadowed by their negative attitude which is a shame.
