List of the new workers in jigjigga bank

No somalis , the first 3 on the list are oromo Somali hybrids. Unfortunatley In order to work for the government in jigjigga one has to know ahmharic and oromo language .

Most somali ethiopians refuges in Kenya support this new ethiopia and are determined to have a centralized Ethiopia

For all the talk online, Somalis in Galbeed seem to be on Abiy's side. Not much appetite for a change to status quo

surprising, considering he is pro centralism

Dont forget ethiopia is authoritarian regime , and not many pro fedralist citizens get coverage. I'm pretty sure most somalis in k5 would rather have a fedralist system so they can retain their religion , language ,culture and jobs for the locals .
The somalis residing outside ethiopia and the hybrids living in jigjigga & dir dhaba are the ones pushing for this centralist system. I've noticed they also push for that tripartite system with eri, ethio and Somalia .

Jigjigga has fallen just like dir dhabe, baabili ,haraar . The big bussineses like hotels in jiga are all owned by amhara .
Wiilwaal is rolling in his , I dont belong to that ethnic group from there but it hurts because Somalia atm cant do anything to help them financially or politically as we are Amhara Abiye b!€#$

Somalis shouldn't be dominated in their own state, I do not agree with that, but let's be honest, Ethiopia ain't going nowhere, at least for now. So Somali's should work with other Ethiopians and seek more influence on the federal level.

the resident Abyssinian comes to defend the colonizing Amhara, we know thats never going to happen Somalis were always seen as outsiders and it will continue to be that way.

Meh. We all look alike anyway, the outside world, and even our own, cannot always tell us apart. lol. And who is defending colonizers? It's the truth, like it or not. The super powers of the world would not recognize any independent oromia, tigray, somali, etc. The last thing they want is more instability, not because they care, but because then millions of our people would be trying to flee faster to Europe, America, etc, among other things.
I do agree, but somali's can change that, if they're unite and work within the system, with allies.

Somali region isn't seen in the same light as Oromia or Tigray, a Tigrayan enemy today is an Ethiopian borther tomorrow, an Oromo enemy today is also an Ethiopian brother but with Somalis they see foreigners renting land in Ethiopia. Somali Region is the most marginalised and militarised region of Ethiopia so spare us the lecture on Ethiopian Injeras.

You are talking from a privileged position, even Afars are seen as fellow Ethiopians I seen how Ethiopian media sided with Afars during the conflict in Sitti conflict calling Somalis Alshabaab and Abiye regime threatening Somalis to have them withdraw, it doesn't matter who sits in Addis everyone sees an enemy in us we are what unites Ethiopians.

That is true to a certain extent. BUT Somali region today, is not viewed as it was in the past. You have to also understand that religion plays a role, as well. They view a Muslim Oromo in a similar way, or similar to how they view Somali's, Afars, other Muslims. Also, Amhara-Tigray relations are at its lowest today, than in a long time. I think it may take 100 or more years for it to be relatively peaceful or not hostile. Both sides have grudges, past and present, against each other.

I do agree that Oromo are more integrated into Ethiopia, but what I am saying is, it's best to recognize things for what they are, put the emotions aside and view things objectively and do what the best you can with what you got. Somali region can be a major player on a federal level, in due time, that's for sure, especially if they form alliances on the federal level.

The Somalis in jigjigga already work with and for the ETHIOPIANS and their children are still refused to work in government institutions in their own state

Its virtually impossible to assimilate into Somali society as a foreigner, lets not forget standardized Somali written and spoken language only came about in the 70s and was promptly stopped in 91, so what do you expect foreigners to assimilate into, clan X ?

You need to standardize alot of things like written and spoken language, history, etc to form a cohesive Somali identity and then push that to the forefront, that way you can actually assimilate groups, thats what the Amhara achieved in Ethiopia.

Cagjar and Somali kilil are actually ahead of us in Somalia, they use whatever was left from us in 1991 and build on it.

Most of the Amharas in the video don't live in Jigjiga, they actually flew in from other parts of Ethiopia to celebrate there holiday in the city.

I cant belive some somalis are pro abyssinians and dream of this map .

Would you let an amxara qalanjo bring herself and bus of her relatives to beledweyne if she sang you a song like this ?

This is an Oromo singer by the way, alot of Oromos look upon Somalis fondly remember we have the longest border with them out of any other ethnicity in the world and interact mostly with them, they are also the group mostly similar to us albeit we are more advanced than them so they look up to us.

Habeshis fetishize Somali as well as mock us, very similar to how Arabs do it, they even have comedy shows about Somalis, for the average Habeshi Somali is akin to what in the west would the red indians, this should never be confused with flattery, they will smile and pretend to embrace you but in the head you are a low IQ monkey ready to be manipulated exactly how Arabs look at us.

I mean I cannot blame them for their attitudes it is to be expected they are our immediate neighbors and know very well how down bad we are, they are useful mirror to look at our ugly state of affairs, there was a time when we were the lions of Africa and Middle east, on bar with nations like Egypt and Iraq in their glory days.
