Why do Somalis feel ashamed asking another Somali's help, but wouldn't hesitate when asking foreigners?
Be honest, if somaliland needed something, would they rather ask Puntland or Kenya? Their pride wouldn't let them ask for the help of another Somali, but it's completely fine to ask for foreigners help.
There are many positives to collective pride, if you don't respect yourself no one will respect you. But with Somali pride we take it too far that it's costing us our country. So where do we draw the line?
