The everyday average Somali women is just as if not more colorist than the average Somali man. I’ve never seen a man run around flexing their kids skin tone to other dads the way I’ve seen moms and aunties do that shit, I’ve never seen older Somali men out in the open tell dark skin kids that they are too dark and need to stop going outside the way I’ve seen moms do that shit, wlhi when my little cousin was born, one of the first things that Somali lady nurse did was check his knuckles, back of his ear, etc. to see how dark he would become, I’ve never seen a male do that stuff, it’s funny how you think lightskin men are “less” colorist lol, how would that even make sense, how would two shades of men be all that different from each other in the same dhaqan, this is cope
