I thought this was a given? Obviously it's not an absolute, but there is a racial hierarchy of dating, I'm not even mad and neither do I care tbh, but it's the truth nonetheless.

Black men are portrayed better in the media than they were back then.

However their portrayal are rather controversial: Hip hop culture is not attractive to the white upper classes.

Not every white women who’s grown in an upper class Is gonna be with a black man but it depends how successful is that black man.

If he succeeds in a field of intellect then he’ll be chosen by an upper class women regardless of race.

But unfortunately most blacks grows in a lower upper class.

Light skin (black men) can attract any races and so can black men.

This idea of yours only works in Brazil, India and China and other third world or non Anglo western countries

Colourism is a big deal down there.

But in western counties discrimination may exist in some communities (depending of the class of people). Some would discriminate you because you don’t share the same culture or maybe you’re unsuccessful.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here? I'm talking in general, you're bringing up individuals.

On average, Light-skin >>>> Dark-Skin for dating, jobs, how you're treated by your classmates, parents, siblings etc

And it's not just the West, there's a bleaching crisis back home in Somalia/Africa.

Colourism is universal.

It’s a coping mechanism from madow women and men. Most biracial black men have high smv from both black women and non black women so they know biracial/ lightskin men dont care for darkskin black women like that so they cope and use preemptive rejection in order to protect their ego, kinda like saying : “ you can’t fire me, I quit!”. Most black men know that biracial/lightskin men have higher smv then them to all groups of women so they “joke” about them in order to humble their ego. Most Somali/ black people prefer lightskin people, and that includes lightskin men.
