lol love the gaslighting.... social media has an impact on young impressionable youth. So these Somali men that like to bring up "madow" Somali women to uplift lighter skin women definitely has an impact on darker skinned women self worth thus affecting them in real life. So miss me with that BS.SSpot isnt real life.
Doesn't matter, the majority of lightskin women still prefer brown/dark skin men! Most black women don't even date lightskin women due to them being "feminine"And white skin is more attractive on men
Skin color is a sexually dimorphic trait. Sexual dimorphism refers to the phenomenon where the 2 sexes have different physical/morphological features within the same species.
These features are used to differentiate between the sexes, an example of this would be jaw size/width, Men on average have larger and wider jaws which is why they are considered masculine, this is a sexually dimorphic trait, height is another and basically any trait where there are on average biological differences between males and females. Skin color falls under this category because the average woman is slightly lighter than the average man, this is found in many other animals aswell like Lions in which Lions with higher androgen levels usually have darker manes.
The implications of this is that darker skin is more masculine and lighter skin more feminine but these traits are weakly sexual dimorphic as there isn’t a large difference in average skin tone between men and women, so no need to fret if you’re a darkskin woman.
“Skin colour varies considerably between people from different regions of the globe but is sexually dimorphic within a specific region, with men having darker (lower L*) and redder (higher a*) skin compared to women (Jablonski and Chaplin, 2000, Russell, 2003, van den Berghe and Frost, 1986)”
