I agree to an extant.
In my mind, mental/physical laziness will kill my soul and hard work will build my character. Ups and downs are for me to understand and see its wisdom. I will get mine when God gives me.
There is luck in life, but it's not what we think luck is.
Sometimes a bad thing is luck to steer you to a better path for you.
Kinda like why broke nerds get pushed out for trying to hustle on the streets. It's a lesson of You have to get in where you fit in.
I also believe a man should always be busy working on a plan.
If a man is unemployed, look for jobs and in the meantime, go research and learn on how to make money online, how to improve his situation in life. Use the bad experiences as fuel to keep pushing forward. Make a plan so that when you do get some money, you get busy and pay the cost to be boss.
Long story short, just hard working is not enough, you have to have a plan and a strong mindset to handle challenges. It's a lonely road for a man to go somewhere.
Only spend time with friends that are on the same mission as you. The rest of the time is for you to spend wisely whether is to seek knowledge for whatever his interests are.

Yep you are dealt a hand and have to deal with it. Nothing else you can do really. I wouldn't exchange my life for someone else's because i've seen how bad it can get.

We have been told this life is temporary we die on an average age of 60-70 if we was healthy.. other times we can die randomly by accident or just naturally.
Everything is pre-destined (Qadr)
We have been told we will be tested with loss of loved ones, povery, illness this is mentioned in surah ankaboot.
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?

Problem is some ppl never suffer in this dunya. That shit gets me down. Some of the worst ppl I've seen seem to have no problems. Look at the worst wealthy ppl that live live to 90 in luxury.
This dunya is jannah for the disbelievers and hypocrites.
For them is brief] enjoyment in this world; then to Us is their return; then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to disbelieve.}

Indeed, Allaah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He will never let him escape." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
The Prophet also said: "This worldly life is a prison for the believer and a Paradise for the disbeliever." [Muslim]
The reason muslims suffer is because our sins are being purified in this dunya.
The common muslims sins will be either purified in this dunya through calamity or illness, in the grave through punishment or temporary hell fire depending on his level of sins and whether or not he made tawbah enough.
I think any sane muslim would rather suffer here than in the akhirah.
